WAYS TO PREPARE YERBA MATE 

TRADITIONALLY with a GOURD & BOMBILLA

1. Fill gourd 1/2 to 2/3 full with yerba.

2. Cover top of gourd, turn sideways or upside-down and shake. Revert gourd to a 45 degree angle. (*Do not bring back to level)

3. Slowly pour room temperature water into open side of gourd - covering the yerba almost completely. Let water soak in.

4. Insert bombilla - cover tip with thumb, slide down side of gourd, snug under the yerba.

5. Fill with warm (~70°C / ~150°F). Enjoy!

MODERNIZED with a PRESS, DRIP, or INFUSER

1. Add 1-3 table spoons of yerba to your French press, dripper, or infuser.

2. Steep in room temperature water - so not to burn the yerba. Until absorbed.

3. Pour water (~70°C / ~150°F) over the yerba or steep your infuser.

4. Let steep for 2 ~ 5 minutes - depending on how strong you like it.

5. Sip & ENJOY!
